Balance Systems Corp., Wixom, MI, is looking for a Sales Manager for State-of-Art “Industrial Balancing Machines.”

SALES MANAGER (m/f/d)

(Areas: North America & South America)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establishing new and long-term relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and installers through regular contacts and scheduled visits.
  • Planning and developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategies defined by the Headquarters within the assigned territory to achieve set sales targets.
  • Maintaining existing customer relationships and gaining market share with new prospects.
  • Participating in tradeshows, setting up workshops, and product promotions.
  • Getting monitored product performance, identifying, and documenting critical issues and technical and application problems on balancing machines
  • Issuing weekly reports about Your activities/customer’s visits and monthly reports on results.
  • Building relationships with the sales team, technical support, and R&D department.
  • Keeping track of the latest industry trends, studying competitors and their products’ positioning

About You:

Our key requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding of electromechanical principles and automation machinery operation
  • Good communication and presentation skills and capacity for empathy.
  • Ability to research and develop new customers.
  • Strong competencies in relationship management and negotiation
  • Willingness to travel frequently in the US and South America (50%)
  • Proven experience in manufacturing and ideally acquired expertise in the products we deal with
  • Pursue the sales and profit targets previously agreed upon with the Headquarters
  • Carry out your duties with care and precision.
  • Team player
  • High level of problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the MS Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish being a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
